When you grow, we grow - together.This Position Will Serve Birmingham, AL and Surrounding AreasTravels daily to stores with own vehicle within assigned areas to conduct physical inventories of store merchandise utilizing a handheld scanner.
Upon completion of the audit, the auditor works with the Store Managers to review the audit results and communicates the results and observations to the Audit Supervisor and Operations Management.Hours: 5:30Am - Until Finish M-FAs an Inventory Auditor, You Will Be Responsible For:Verifying merchandise and cash in each of the Circle K Company stores by conducting a physical count using a handheld computerNotifying store managers of wrong prices and pull out-of-code merchandiseCounting and verifying cash assets on siteVerifying money orders, lottery tickets inventory and bank depositsVerifying gasoline inventoryPerform surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial proceduresWorking in safe manner by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWorking independently with little supervisionPerforming multi-tasks in a fast-paced environmentContributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededQualifications1. High school diploma or GED preferred.2. Requires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.3. Must have a valid driver's license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.4. Occasional overnight travel may be required.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear.
The employee frequently is required to use his/her hands in order to handle or grasp items. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms. The employee is routinely required to lift items that may weigh up to 25 lbs.Work EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at a normal range.
