Optum NV is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a clinician-led care organization focused on improving healthcare. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will have access to clinical resources, data, and global organizational support to help patients live healthier lives.

Practice Info

  • Work with other physicians in teams while managing your own panel of patients.
  • The patient population is an adult panel of all ages, including geriatrics and some older adolescents, with customization for interest areas.
  • Seniors have access to new Lifestyle Centers.
  • Work in attractive/modern buildings with an electronic medical record environment.
  • Full-time management staff, digital radiology, and onsite laboratory services are available at 14 clinic locations throughout the Las Vegas area.
  • This is an employed practice position with Southwest Medical.

Compensation

  • $100,000 Sign On Bonus

  • The salary range for this role is $245,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment.

Requirements

  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained, board certified or board eligible
  • Ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, Pharmacy license
  • Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care
  • Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families and other health professionals
  • Possession of or acquisition of sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records in their practice
  • Practice-based learning and improvement that involves investigation and evaluation of their own patient care, appraisal and assimilation of scientific evidence and improvements in patient care
