Position Overview
The APP will evaluate and manage adult Rheumatology patients in an outpatient setting, both independently and in collaboration with the supervising physician.
The practice sees a broad range of rheumatologic conditions and offers a supportive environment for experienced providers as well as motivated new graduates.
Responsibilities include:
New patient evaluations
Follow-up visits
Treatment planning and patient education
Medication management
Care coordination with specialists and primary care providers
Ongoing management of chronic rheumatologic conditions
Ideal Candidate
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure
DEA or ability to obtain
Strong communication and patient care skills
Interest in Rheumatology and long-term specialty practice
Experienced providers preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
