We are excited to open a new location in Dalton GA and are seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team. Training and onboarding will take place at 6120 Alabama Hwy Ringgold GA 30736 to provide a smooth transition and ensure you are fully prepared to serve patients at the new site.

General Job Description:

The Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner is responsible for promoting the health and safety of their patients by providing quality medical care through proactive treatment and diagnoses. Their duties include addressing patient's health concerns, conducting comprehensive health assessments, physical exams, and screening chronic medical conditions.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION

  • Graduation of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE

  • Georgia State Registered Advance Nurse Practitioner License
  • Current certification from the American Nurses Association (ANA) or another comparable credentialing agency
  • CPR/BLS
  • DEA
  • NPI

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of two-years clinical experience preferred.
  • Must be a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with documented training and credentialing across the full patient lifespan (infant to adult).
  • Candidate must hold FNP certification and demonstrate clinical competency across all developmental stages, from newborns to older adults.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish: Strongly Preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Ability to assess medical conditions and interpret findings.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with staff and patients.
  • Ability to make patients comfortable and feel welcome.
