Responsibilities
- Inpatient attending on the liver service at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center.
- Outpatient liver clinics at the state‑of‑the‑art facility at M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center in Minneapolis.
- Provide consultations and outreach activities.
- Develop a clinical research program.
- Be an active, ongoing participant in the academic missions of the Department of Medicine and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
- Teach medical students, residents, and Gastroenterology fellows.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency, Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship training programs.
- Board certified in internal medicine and board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology by the ABIM.
- Advanced training in hepatology and clinical experience in hepatology and/or transplant hepatology is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated excellence in patient care, enthusiasm for medical education, and strong teaching skills.
- Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
- Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA.

Demonstrates expertise in Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology, with a strong focus on patient care, medical education, and clinical research development. Holds necessary board certifications and licenses to practice in Minnesota, ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulations.
