Overview
The Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota seeks a board certified or eligible Cardiologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank on an academic track. The role focuses on critical‑care cardiology and will involve working closely with Division and Lillehei Heart Institute leadership to advance clinical and academic missions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology/Critical Care fellowship program
- Board eligible or certified in Cardiology and Critical Care Cardiology
- Licensed or able to obtain a medical license and DEA registration in Minnesota and meet credentialing and privilege criteria
- Eligible for U.S. work authorization and able to maintain legal status per VISA requirements
Pay and Benefits
- Dual employment with University of Minnesota Physicians and the University; base salary range $379,000 – $677,000, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE
- Clinical salary aligned with clinical effort through M Physicians
