Faculty Internal Medicine Physician

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an Academic/Faculty Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time teaching position at their Outpatient Internal Medicine Faculty Clinic in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Affiliated with the Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter, MD School of Medicine, this role offers the opportunity to focus on resident teaching, mentorship, and clinical precepting without managing an independent patient panel. The provider will join a mission-driven, community-based practice providing care to a diverse urban population alongside dedicated interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care in collaboration with internal medicine residents
• Provide clinical precepting comprising 90% of the role
• Perform administrative duties comprising 10% of the role, including approximately ½-day per week of protected admin time

Compensation

• Base Salary Range: $250,000 - $270,000
• Guaranteed base
• Sign-on bonus and stipend

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible)
• Passion for medical education, teaching, and mentorship
• Interest in academic medicine and community-based care
• Candidates interested in resident teaching are strongly preferred
