Extrusion OperatorThe Extrusion Operator is responsible for efficiently operating an extrusion machine for yarn production.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Regularly maintain extrusion line doffs.String up positions when breakouts occur as efficient as possible.Effectively pack-out yarn with correct labeling and preparation.Work with a partner to ensure safe and efficient production.Learn to clean and inspect spinnerets.Keep work area clean and organized.Performance Expectations (if applicable):Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping, and bending is required throughout the shift.Must be able to lift 60 lbs.Must be able to use scissors, a wrap stick, wrenches, and other hand tools.Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.Experience/Education Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous Extrusion experience preferred.Other Requirements:Overtime required on occasion.All accidents must be reported immediately.Perform any other duties as assigned.
