Join us for the chance to leverage your inherent curiosity and proven capabilities to catapult you to the next level.The Project Accountant plays a key role in tracking and reporting on the project's financial performance.ResponsibilitiesProcess the monthly owner requisitionProcess subcontractor requisitionsEnsure the subcontractor is complying with terms and conditions of the contract (i.e. insurance, billing procedures, etc.)Process budget updatesProcess cost transfersSelect invoices to be included in the weekly disbursement cycleMonitor and track the cash position of the projectAssist the Corporate Risk Manager in the administration of a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP)Work closely with Project Managers and Project Executives on all facets of project accounting and administration issuesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or other relevant fieldAbility to adapt to different personalities and management styles0-3 years of related experienceCandidate must possess Suffolk's Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Hard Work, Professionalism, and CaringWorking ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing.
