A unicorn-status space technology company is looking for an experienced Export Control Director to build and lead its export compliance programme from the ground up.
Working closely with executive leadership and engineering teams, you'll be responsible for developing scalable compliance processes, managing ITAR, EAR and OFAC requirements, overseeing export licensing and classifications, and embedding compliance across the business.
Requirements
- 8+ years of export compliance experience
- Strong expertise in ITAR, EAR and OFAC
- Experience with export classifications and licensing
- Background partnering with engineering or technical teams
- Ideally built functions from scratch
- Aerospace, defence, satellite or other highly regulated industry experience preferred
- Startup or high-growth company experience is a plus
