We are seeking an experienced an Accountant/Executive Assistant to manage the accounting and financial operations of multiple entities. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys ownership, autonomy, and broad responsibility across financial management, reporting, and compliance, while providing executive support.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities.
- Oversee accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare monthly cash flow reports and maintain accurate financial records.
- Track investments, capital accounts, distributions, K-1s, and 1099s.
- Prepare year-end financial statements and coordinate with external CPAs on tax reporting.
- Manage banking relationships, financial reporting, and entity compliance filings.
- Executive Assistant functions including scheduling, correspondence, and coordination with advisors as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial and personal matters.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a full-charge accounting role.
- Experience managing accounting for multiple entities.
- Experience supporting a principal or administrative support experience including scheduling, correspondence and overall support.
- Advanced QuickBooks and strong Excel skills.
- Experience working with CPA firms, banks, and financial institutions.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a family office, investment environment, or closely held business.
