As an Examiner, you will conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for Veterans applying for disability compensation from the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). The role involves reviewing claims, performing focused assessments of claimed injuries, reviewing medical records, and rendering medical opinions based on record review and completed C&P exams.
These Evaluations are critical to the VA’s process for determining benefits Veterans can receive as a result of service‑connected health issues. Clinical insights enable access to treatment subspecialists and ensure continuity of care.
Clinical Examiners will use a web‑based examination form in a proprietary online system to capture patient information throughout the examination process. Candidates must hold an active license, work independently and collaboratively, possess strong interpersonal skills, and adapt to changing situations. Basic computer skills are required.
