Job Purpose
This position will provide onsite support services between the virtual MRI Technologists and patients to ensure MRI examinations run smoothly and patients remain safe while under the care of the diagnostic imaging center.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3pm – 9pm.
Location: Frisco, TX.
Starting at $18/hour.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of healthcare related experience is preferred; relevant service industry experience is acceptable.
- Medical assistants, dental hygienists, occupational therapists, speech‑language pathologists and other allied health professionals are preferred.
- Experience as practice receptionists, administrative staff and other clerical positions related to radiology.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Must be detail‑oriented, highly organized and able to convey MRI safety screenings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough MRI Safety Screening and Clearance for all MRI patients.
- Prepare MRI examination rooms, including exam table, selection of MRI coil and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for each patient.
- Perform accurate and comfortable patient positioning in accordance with each MRI examination, with targeted landmarking of patient body part.
- Record detailed patient history and input patient information into PACS.
- Communicate and provide a calm environment for all patients before, during, and at the end of the MRI exam.
