Job Overview

We are seeking an EV Charging Systems Verification Engineer to support the integration, validation, and system-level testing of EV charging infrastructure, power electronics, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute electrical, functional, system-level, and interoperability test plans.
• Validate EV charging systems/EVSE, AC/DC power systems, inverters, DC-DC converters, and power distribution equipment.
• Perform charger-to-vehicle interoperability testing across multiple vendors.
• Troubleshoot electrical/system issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Use oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters, DAQ/data logging equipment for testing and analysis.
• Support high-voltage testing up to 1000V DC / 480V AC and lab safety activities.
• Analyze test data and support automation using Python and/or MATLAB.
• Prepare test reports and technical documentation.
• Support prototype, vendor, commissioning, and pre-deployment validation.
• Assist with lab equipment setup, configuration, inventory, and occasional field testing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical systems integration, validation, testing, or commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with EV charging/EVSE, power electronics, AC/DC systems, or high-voltage electrical systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and schematic-reading skills.
• Experience with electrical test equipment and Python/MATLAB.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with DC Fast Charging, fleet charging, charging interoperability, EV manufacturers, or charging vendors.
• Experience in high-voltage laboratory or validation environments.
