ETL DeveloperExperience: 5–10+ Years (Relevant ETL/Data Integration Experience) Salary: $115k + benefits Location: Seattle, WAJob SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled ETL Developer with strong expertise in IBM DataStage and IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) to design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise-scale data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building high-performance ETL pipelines, modernizing legacy DataStage environments, and supporting enterprise data warehousing initiatives.The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong SQL knowledge, and experience working in Agile environments while collaborating with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and product owners.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM DataStage (11.x and above).Build scalable, high-performance batch and near real-time data integration pipelines.Lead migration and modernization initiatives from traditional DataStage environments to IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).Develop reusable ETL frameworks, shared containers, parameter sets, and automation components.Perform complex data extraction, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, validation, and loading activities.Optimize ETL jobs, SQL queries, and data processing for improved performance.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.Collaborate with Data Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Product Owners throughout the SDLC.Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, source-to-target mappings, and operational runbooks.Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance, security, and quality standards.Required Technical SkillsPrimary SkillsIBM DataStage (11.x and above)IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D)ETL Design & DevelopmentData IntegrationData Warehousing ConceptsAdvanced SQLData ModelingData Migration & ModernizationETL Performance Tuning & OptimizationUnix/Linux Shell ScriptingPreferred SkillsMigration of IBM DataStage workloads to IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D)Cloud-native architecture and modernization programsAutosys, Control-M, or other enterprise scheduling toolsData Governance, Metadata Management, and Data LineageDevOps practices and ETL deployment automationBanking & Financial Services domain experienceExperience with enterprise-scale, high-volume data platformsRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.5–10+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development using IBM DataStage.Strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and data integration.Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) migration and modernization projects.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Nice-to-HaveIBM DataStage CertificationCloud Platform experience (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP)CI/CD implementation for ETL deploymentsEnterprise Data Governance experienceFinancial Services or Banking industry backgroundKey SkillsIBM DataStage • IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) • ETL Development • Data Integration • Data Warehousing • Advanced SQL • Data Modeling • Data Migration • ETL Performance Tuning • Unix/Linux • Shell Scripting • Autosys • Control-M • Data Governance • Metadata Management • Data Lineage • DevOps • Agile • Banking & Financial ServicesDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
