We are seeking a Commercial Estimator with strong project estimation experience and hands-on expertise in Bluebeam (required). This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting successful project execution.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of construction estimating practices, key business drivers, and the ability to solve problems using technical judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Utilize Bluebeam to perform takeoffs, review drawings, and support estimating functions (required)
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and scope to determine labor, materials, and cost requirements
- Support bid preparation and submission processes
- Apply company guidelines and policies to evaluate project requirements and risks
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope and pricing
- Identify discrepancies and recommend solutions using technical knowledge and judgment
- Maintain and update estimating documentation and project records
Required:
- Experience in commercial construction estimating
- Proficiency with Bluebeam for takeoffs and project estimation (required)
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience within the estimating discipline
- Ability to understand key business drivers and apply them to project estimates
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage assignments with moderate guidance and direction
