ERP Project ManagerThe ERP IT project manager will be assigned to manage, develop, and implement project(s) of varying complexity and size in the area of Site and Capability deployment, new version/releases of the Global ERP solution development projects, and other required areas of the ERP program. Partners with business stakeholders such as Envision Cummins, IT common services, CBS IT to ensure a successful project completionKey Responsibilities:Leads multiple projects from inception to completion; facilitates project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each projectWorks with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals; designs project plan, develops timeline, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance goals and timelineIdentifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues. Monitors and communicates project status to project teamPlans and monitors project budget, conducts research and analysis; provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelinesManages project risk; uses quality tools to identify areas of risk; works with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutionsDocuments and shares team learnings with other teams; draws on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the projectMaintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignmentsIdentifies and assigns appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks; guides and coaches team members through various stages of the project; provides developmental feedback to team membersProvides weekly project status and communication to ERP Program Management Office (PMO) and the IT transform Portfolio PMORoadmap Support Execute IT Stakeholder Communications Manage inter-program engagement and complexity Lead IT vendor/supplier management Program IT Risk management Coordinate with CMI IT release schedules and intra program release testing Program IT Resource Management Coordinate Capacity Management (Hardware, IT Personnel, Software) Lead IT Recruitment and ODR Program IT Financial Management Manage regular Program Reporting and MetricsQualifications and Competencies:Skills:Issue Management - Maintains a cross-functional project issues list, with appropriate prioritization based on the issue's level of importance.

Uses a Value Package Profile (VPP) or other appropriate scope-defining document, and manages changeSchedule Management - Develops and maintains a cross-functional schedule. Proficient at one or more schedule management tools.
