Environmental Litigation Associate – San Diego, San Francisco or Seattle

We are working with a leading law firm seeking an Environmental Litigation Associate to join its practice in San Diego, San Francisco, or Seattle.

This is an opportunity for a Class of 2021–2023 attorney with substantive environmental litigation experience who is interested in joining a sophisticated practice handling complex environmental, regulatory, and toxic tort matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience with environmental litigation and regulatory matters, including some combination of:

• Agency enforcement actions and related defense work

• Environmental and toxic tort litigation

• Federal and state environmental statutes, including CERCLA and California Proposition 65

• Regulatory compliance counseling

• Environmental diligence in connection with corporate transactions

• Drafting briefs, discovery responses and substantive correspondence

• Depositions, oral arguments and management of complex discovery

Candidates should have strong writing and case management skills and be comfortable taking meaningful responsibility for matters while working collaboratively as part of a team.

Applicants must be admitted in the state in which they will practice or be eligible to waive in.

Locations: San Diego, San Francisco, or Seattle

Class Years: 2021–2023

Compensation: $260,000–$365,000
