VAA's Structural Engineering team is responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of structures across a variety of projects. We work on a diverse range of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities, providing innovative solutions to meet both functional and safety requirements. The team focuses on delivering high-quality structural designs, collaborating with architects, partners, and other engineers to create efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that adhere to regulatory standards and client specifications.

Your role:

n

Under the direction of a Project or Senior Engineer you will:

n• Utilize problem solving ability and knowledge of engineering fundamentals to develop design solutions in a team settingnn• Contribute to the preparation of high-quality design documents including calculations, drawings and specifications.nn• Deliver value to design team and clients through an expanding knowledge of design codes and industry standards.nn• Utilize design software with increasing efficiency and depth of understanding.nn• Undertake increasingly complex design tasks and responsibilities with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.nn• Perform construction phase site observations and prepare reports to support our projects and gain valuable experience.nn• Potential 5% travel to construction job sites.nn

Your resume must include:

n• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural engineering emphasis.nn

Starting Annual Salary Range: $69,000 - $85,000. A variety of factors are considered when determining an offer including, but not limited to, market data, geographic location, experience, and specialized skills.
