Lord & Winter is seeking a motivated Staff Scientist I to support natural resource and environmental projects throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. This hybrid role includes a mix of field work, office collaboration, and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct wetland delineations, stream assessments, and ecological field investigations.
- Collect field data, GPS points, photographs, and site documentation.
- Support environmental permitting and regulatory compliance projects.
- Prepare technical reports, figures, and project documentation.
- Work closely with Project Managers to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of environmental consulting or natural resources experience.
- Strong technical writing and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
