Position Overview

An Am200 nationally recognized law firm is seeking experienced attorneys to join its growing Denver practice. Opportunities are available across employment litigation, wage and hour litigation, and traditional labor law, with positions ranging from mid-level associate to Of Counsel.

Attorneys will work closely with experienced practitioners on sophisticated employment and labor matters, represent employers in litigation and labor-related disputes, and advise clients on a broad range of workplace issues. These opportunities offer meaningful client contact, hands-on responsibility, and the ability to develop a long-term practice within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle employment and labor matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Represent employers in employment-related disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, and other workplace matters.
• Support wage and hour litigation, including class and collective actions, as applicable to the attorney’s experience.
• Advise employers on labor and employment laws, workplace policies, compliance issues, and risk mitigation strategies.
• For attorneys with traditional labor experience, assist with collective bargaining, labor contract administration, grievance arbitration, and unfair labor practice proceedings.
• Draft persuasive legal briefs, motions, and other substantive work product while developing effective litigation and advocacy strategies.
• Maintain strong client relationships, communicate practical legal guidance, and collaborate with colleagues across practice areas.
• Contribute to client development and the continued growth of the practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Colorado Bar.
• Several years of relevant labor and employment law experience, with opportunities suited to mid-level, senior, and Of Counsel attorneys.
• Experience in employment litigation, wage and hour matters, traditional labor law, or a combination of these areas.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, exercise sound judgment, and work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Excellent client communication skills and a commitment to delivering practical, business-focused legal advice.
