Associate AttorneyDirect Counsel has partnered with a firm growing California based law firm expanding into Washington, they are considered a powerhouse in the field of plaintiff's side wage-and-hour class action litigation. We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join their team, focusing on the prosecution of employment class and representative actions, involving wage-and-hour, unfair business practice, discrimination, and false advertising matters.Hiring CriteriaAll qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply.Candidates must be either (a) licensed to practice law in Washington or (b) already licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and pending admission to the Washington Bar.The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Washington and have 5+ years of experience in civil litigation, including experience with discovery in the civil litigation context, oral advocacy and appearing in Court, motion practice and taking/defending depositions.Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hour litigation is a plus.Candidates must be able to travel on occasion.A positive attitude and interest in joining a highly successful firm and collegial group of 50+ attorneys dedicated to helping those who have experienced injustice in the workplace across WashingtonPay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceOpportunity for Performance Based Discretionary Bonus & Merit IncreaseWork Location: In-person
