Emergency Veterinarian

Overview

We are an expanding referral practice seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian in Wilmington, North Carolina to join our team of 7 full‑time Emergency DVMs.

About Us

Our team collaborates with specialists in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Surgery, Anesthesia, Theriogenology, and Sports Medicine/Rehabilitation. We also have an in‑house Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides counseling and resources for stress, grief, loss, and mental well‑being.

Facility features:

• Two digital radiography units for high‑quality imaging
• Ultrasound for advanced diagnostics
• In‑house IDEXX laboratory systems for quick and accurate test results
• 4‑slice GE CT scanner for comprehensive imaging
• Endoscopy for minimally invasive procedures
• MRI

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years of emergency experience or internship training (preferred)
• A strong desire to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and team‑oriented environment
• A commitment to delivering excellent patient care and building strong client and RDVM relationships
