Thrive Miami is looking for a full‑time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients, perform surgeries, deliver critical care, and maintain high quality of service in the emergency department.
- Assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans.
- Partner closely with technicians to ensure high‑quality execution of care.
- Manage hospitalized cases and support triage in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree.
- State Veterinary Board License – active and in good standing for the state of intended employment and obtained prior to start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
- Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended.
