Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware and software for microcontrollers and SoCs.
- Interface with hardware design teams to define system architecture and requirements.
- Optimize embedded code for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests; support system validation and debugging.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including hardware, QA, and product management.
- Write clear, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement processes.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies in embedded systems and apply them when appropriate.
Required Skills
- C/C++ embedded software development experience on Linux‑based SoC.
- Hands‑on experience in IT/Telecom on software and hardware solutions, with breadth and depth across technical areas as needed.
- Relevant network knowledge (Residential gateways, IPv4/IPv6, TR‑181, 802.11, Ethernet).
- Experience with RDK‑B (Wi‑Fi RDK‑B CCSP, HAL and BBF TR‑181 Data Model).
- Experience with Broadcom‑based SoC and debugging Wi‑Fi driver commands.
- Autonomy: Ability to lead remote projects with high degree of independence.
- Leadership: Drive SW maturity convergence to meet project schedule.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Wi‑Fi: Experience in investigating Wi‑Fi protocol frames with sniffer, knowledge of Wi‑Fi features such as puncturing and MLO.
- EasyMesh: Ability to understand EM controller versus EM agent responsibilities, familiar with P1905 protocol.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics or related field.
