What You Will Do:
- Teach 3rd Grade and 5th Grade Science using engaging, standards-based instruction
- Foster curiosity through hands-on investigations, STEM activities, and inquiry-based learning
- Help students explore life, earth, and physical science concepts while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Prepare students for academic success and state assessments
- Use student data to drive instruction and close learning gaps
- Create a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environment
- Participate in collaborative PLC meetings focused on student growth
- Communicate regularly with parents and families
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners through intervention and enrichment
- Support schoolwide expectations, culture, and Leader in Me initiatives
- Build strong relationships with students while maintaining high academic expectations
- Certified teacher or certification in progress
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Passion for science, STEM education, and student achievement
