Electrical Test TechnicianUnder limited guidance, assemble and test electronics systems for military applications.Test electronic boards, assemblies and systems (including RF, power, digital)Perform precise RF measurements using specialized equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzersIdentify root causes of RF performance problemsWork directly with engineers on new product start-upsResponsible for electronic assembly, testing, and reworkResponsible for circuit board rework, including surface mount and through-hole componentsPerform characterization, debugging and repair of electronic systems and subsystemsCollaborate with design and test engineers to identify equipment or test setups for testing or characterization of components and subassembliesMaintain laboratory environment and equipment including test equipmentOrganize, document, and present test and other data packages for reviewReading schematics and troubleshooting boards to the component levelDocument test procedures, results, and troubleshooting stepsParticipate in internal program reviews as requiredPerform other duties as requiredObtain/retain a government security clearance at the level necessary to perform the duties of the position.Required:Hands-on experience in:Experience with RF test equipmentKnowledge of Linux and WindowsExperience in hand soldering and familiar with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standardsTesting and troubleshooting circuit boards and electrical systemsDesired:LabView and Python scriptingElectromechanical assemblyCable assembly build/design experienceWorking Conditions:Work is typically performed in a lab environment which requires proper safety precautions.
