And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.We are looking for a dedicated Space Vehicle Systems Engineer to join the TTW team.  This role serves as a technical advocate for the space vehicle as it moves through its lifecycle, from requirements definition through mission operations.  You will work within an engineering team to assure that the space vehicle achieves mission success while balancing technical performance, cost, schedule, and risk.In this role you will:Work with the Space Vehicle Systems Engineering team to verify that the technical design meets customer mission requirementsSummarize technical issues concisely in order to present proposed solutions and execution plans to internal and external customersParticipate in failure analyses to identify root cause and necessary corrective actionsTravel occasionally, as needed, to provide subcontractor oversight and technical expertise during launch campaignsThe information below reflects the standard job description for this position:Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Basic QualificationsExperience in electrical systems design, integration, and/or test in one or more of the following:Channelization for Electrical SystemsElectrical and/or HW/SW Interface Compatibility AnalysisPower Budgeting and Battery Depth of Discharge AnalysisGrounding scheme planning and developmentPerforming electrical system trade studies and/or system modelingDeveloping electrical system requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICD)Performing electrical system verification testingExperience integrating large/complex systems with the ability to troubleshoot at the signal/circuit levelAbility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, thus US citizenship is requiredDesired SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely-related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and debugging spaceflight-quality hardwareExperience using electrical circuit analysis modelling tools (PSpice, LTSpice, OrCAD, Zuken)Experience using Python and/or MATLABActive Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI clearanceProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practicePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
