CEC has experienced significant recent growth and has established itself as the go-to supplier for a diversified product line supporting a wide spectrum of markets from commercial products, military customers, to space research laboratories.ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical control cabinets, junction boxes, and power distribution panels.Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, single-line diagrams, and cable schedules.Create power routing layouts for AC and DC systems.Size and select circuit protection devices, power supplies, relays, terminal blocks, and wiring components.Integrate electrical equipment with PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and industrial networks.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure proper cabinet layout and cable routing.Perform electrical load calculations and verify power distribution requirements.Develop and manage engineering documentation, BOMs, and installation work instructions.Actively monitor assembly, system integration, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and site commissioning.Troubleshoot wiring, grounding, power quality, and integration issues during build and deployment.Adhere to NEC, IPC 620, and applicable customer standards.Support continuous improvement efforts related to electrical design standards and manufacturing efficiencyUphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and TeamworkDemonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and ConductIt is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problemDuties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the businessQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field5+ years of experience designing electrical cabinets or industrial control systemsProficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar electrical CAD toolsExperience developing wiring diagrams and power distribution schematicsKnowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and low-voltage power systemsFamiliarity with UL, NEC, NFPA, and electrical safety requirementsTravel may be required to support site installationsSelected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance issued by the U.S. Government throughout the course of their employment.Pay may range from $109,000 to $130,000 annually.
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
