Electrical Engineering ManagerAECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager (Team Lead) to be based in Denver, CO. This role is a senior leadership position within AECOM's Buildings + Places electrical engineering practice, responsible for technical excellence, people leadership, and electrical discipline delivery across a diverse portfolio of building projects.The Electrical Engineering Manager will lead and grow our team of electrical engineers supporting projects across commercial, science & technology, aviation, federal, industrial, and mission-critical markets. The position offers long-term opportunity to expand leadership scope, regional impact, and influence technical strategy.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program8+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical Engineering12+ years of electrical engineering experienceLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado or ability to obtain via comity within 6 monthsStrong working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IES, and applicable building codesExperience designing building electrical systems including power, lighting, emergency, and low-voltage systemsProficiency with electrical analysis and design tools such as SKM, ETAP, Easypower, Revit, and AutoCADStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform site visits; valid driver's license requiredPrior experience in a team lead, department lead, or mentoring-heavy roleExperience with aviation, federal, mission-critical, or science & technology facilitiesBackground in resilient power systems, microgrids, electrification, or sustainability-driven designAdvanced BIM coordination experienceCredentials such as LEED AP, CEM, or NCEES RecordAdditional InformationDue to the nature of the work, sponsorship is not available for this position.This position requires a hybrid work schedule with regular in-office presence in Denver, CO.
