Shift: 1st shift, 9/80 work schedule
Pay Rate: $40-$50/Hr. on W2
Travel%: 20% (Domestic travel could be approximately 1 week per month when issues arise.)

Job description:
Required Skills:
• Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems
• Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.
• Ability to create and manage interface control documents.
• Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results.
Preferred Skills :
• Hands-on troubleshooting of circuits using oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW, Test Stand, RS485, J-Tag, CANBus
• Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio
• Good Communication skills.
Experience Required:
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis
• Experience developing technical documentation - such as drawings, reports, & technical analysis
Preferred Experience :
• Experience with engineering design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military systems.
• Experience with Programming National Instruments test equipment using Labview and Test Stand
Education Required:
Typically requires 2+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or 1+ years with a Master's degree

Job description:
- Our Client, one of the world's leading defense contractors is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Combat Mission Systems business.
- The Electrical Engineer supports the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment. In this role, the Electrical Engineer: researches, plans, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components.
- Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures.
- Evaluates vendor capabilities, technologies, services and their ability to deliver required products or services
- The qualified candidate will work under general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions.
- The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application..
