This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects including commercial retail renovations, fleet and maintenance facilities, community centers, aviation projects, transportation and rail facilities, and municipal infrastructure.In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of reliable, code-compliant electrical power systems supporting construction and infrastructure projects. You will be involved from early design through construction, ensuring systems are practical, buildable, and aligned with project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.What You'll DoPerform electrical engineering design for power distribution systems in commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projectsDevelop one-line diagrams, panel schedules, feeder sizing, and equipment layouts for new and renovation projectsDesign electrical systems including switchgear, switchboards, transformers, panelboards, and feeders up to 600VPerform load calculations, short circuit, and coordination studies using SKM, EasyPower, or similar toolsPrepare construction documents (plans, details, and specifications) using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platformsCoordinate closely with civil, mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure constructability and code complianceReview shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration activitiesConduct site visits to verify existing conditions and support field coordinationIdentify and communicate design issues, conflicts, and scope changes proactivelyHere's what you'll needBachelor's degree in electrical engineering4+ years of experience in electrical power and construction designFE exam passed or ability to pass within 6 months of hireProficiency in Revit and AutoCADExperience with electrical analysis software (SKM PTW, EasyPower, or similar)Working knowledge of the NEC and applicable building codesExperience with power systems ranging from low-voltage control (24V) to 600V, 3-phase distributionFamiliarity with construction documents and field coordinationIdeally, You'll Also HaveExperience with Revit and BIM coordination workflowsExposure to construction administration (RFIs, submittals, site support)Experience working in active/operational facilities and renovation projectsUnderstanding of utility coordination (service applications, transformers, fault current data, etc.)Strong communication and coordination skills across disciplines and with contractorsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentInterest in developing toward a Professional Engineer (PE) licensePosted Salary Range: Minimum $69,500.00 to Upper $92,000.00Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
