Mentions participation in leading teams of field employees, technicians, engineers, and other personnel.Developing and directing important projects or field assignments with complex features.Performing engineering studies, proposing solutions to engineering-related problems, and developing models for improvement programs.Performing system analysis using operational criteria and tools (CYME, EMS) or PSSE Planning tool or TARA instead of EMS à Look for these key words/experience.Working closely with system study engineer and project scheduler to ensure accuracy of long-term shutdown schedule.Organizing and leading huddle and shutdown schedule review meetings.Organizing and leading cross-function team meetings especially for complex and back-to-back shutdowns in the same area/regions.Championing continuous improvement (CI) initiatives focused on shutdown optimization and coordination of resources.Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Specifies that candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology and at least 4 years of relevant job experience. à Stay away from automotive electrical experience.Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Experience maintaining State Estimator technical applications. Familiarity with Energy Management System (EMS) including State Estimator (SE), Contingency Analysis (CA), and N-1 conditions operating practices. Familiar with PSSE or TARA applications. Ability to provide operational feedback to improve EMS system models based on real-time measurements.Additional Skills: Proficiency in MS Office programs like Excel and Word. Strong communication skills both written and oral.
