Electrical EngineerBR+A is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer for our Denver, CO office. Ideal candidates will be strongly motivated, well organized, and show professional initiative. Being able to take ownership of assignments and perform well both independently and as part of the project team is also necessary.Essential Functions:Provide Engineering, Design work and drafting of plansImplement approved system concepts from a schematic diagram to floor plansSketch rough layouts to review with Project Engineer or Project ManagerReview product cut sheets and technical informationCommunicate with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problemsMeet with vendors to determine spatial requirements for the application of the productAttend meetings as requiredWork to submit the required documentation per project deadlines and milestonesDevelop a strategy to meet the projects' scheduleAssist in the development of engineering systems concepts (M/E)Assist the design team on major design issuesResponsible for organizing required technical correspondence, emails, and calculationsPerform fieldwork and verification of existing conditionsEssential Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Revit and AutoCad proficiency is a requirementExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenGood understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirementsPositive attitude, results-driven and team-orientedAble to think three-dimensionallyCapable of visiting job sites to perform fieldworkAble to manage time to meet deadlinesMinimum Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringEIT requiredPE license preferred5-10 years of experience in healthcare and/or institutional designBR+A is a place to learn, to grow, to work hard for clients that matter – and to be part of something bigger.
