Albin Engineering Services, Inc. ( is looking for an Electrical Engineer for new satellite power management design for one of our premier clients in the aerospace and defense industry. This is a long‑term contract, with strong possibility of converting to a direct hire. You will be working onsite in the Denver, CO area. As our employee, you qualify for our full benefit package.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, troubleshoot and test for new satellites for their power usage and management, including solar panels and battery utilization
- Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports
- Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organization.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in the DOD and/or Aerospace domain or commercial satellite industry
- Active or prior DOD security clearance preferred, but candidates must be able to obtain a DOD security clearance in the future
- Technically manage projects or processes
- Work effectively individually and as part of a team with little oversight
- Coach, review and delegate work to other professionals
