Coffman Engineers is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 4 or more years of experience in consulting engineering and project management.
Applicants must be well versed in all aspects of electrical systems design and specification. The successful individual should be comfortable consulting to architectural practices and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team. You will:Design electrical and lighting plans and specifications for a variety of building typesWork closely with the electrical department and with other engineering disciplines to coordinate deliverables for our clientsContribute to Coffman's marketing and business initiatives as neededWork independently and also collaboratively with othersQualificationsB.S. in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum four years of consulting electrical engineering experienceLocal architectural/engineering community experience is desiredDepartment of Defense design experience is desiredRegistration as PE (preferred)Project Management experience is requiredMust be able to obtain U.S. Security clearanceMust have experience in supervising, estimating, and negotiating contractsMust be able to supervise and manage projects of varying sizesExcellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skillsExperience with site investigations to verify existing conditionsExperience with reviewing contractor submittals and performing construction observationsWilling to travelExpected annual salary of $80,000 - $100,000.
