CEC has experienced significant recent growth and has established itself as the go-to supplier for a diversified product line supporting a wide spectrum of markets from commercial products, military customers, to space research laboratories.The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design of new electronic products up to full production and technical support of electronic products currently in production. This individual will assist with specification reviews, development of program timelines and reports, design reviews, create mechanical designs, pre-production builds, testing, documentation packages and transfers to production.ResponsibilitiesParticipates in the overall detailed product design of the assigned device, component or systemRecognizes design problems and errors and takes corrective actionCoordinates with Manufacturing during pilot run and first production runs to ensure an efficient transition from Engineering into ProductionCreates and modifies Schematics in AutoCADCreates and modifies Part lists and Wire listsInterfaces effectively with other organizations such as Manufacturing, Purchasing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance as needed to carry out responsibilitiesPrepares technical summaries reporting design performanceMonitors the progress of assigned devices, components or systems to ensure that technical problems are solvedCoordinates and performs field management assessmentsWrites manufacture and test procedures and reportsParticipates in project teams and all activities related to the development of new productsProvides technical support to sales and marketing for bids and proposalsUphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and TeamworkDemonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and ConductIt is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problemDuties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the businessQualificationsB.S.

in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or PhysicsMinimum of 5 years of experience in electronic design with electronic circuit technology assembly processes (analog, digital, RF and/or high voltage design) or an equivalent combination of relevant technical education and experienceExperience in design, repair and analysis of electronic systemsKnowledge of CAD software (Inventor and AutoCAD preferred)Competent in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPointSelected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance issued by the U.S. Government throughout the course of their employment.Desired QualificationsRF experience, High Power RF experience a plusHigh Voltage experienceEngineering circuit simulation/analysis program exposureOccasional travel is anticipatedActive DoD issued Secret clearancePhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
