Required Education
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Electrical engineer with strong analytical skills and knowledge of distribution engineering.
- Familiarity with electric distribution line equipment, protective device settings, electric distribution operations, and distribution power flow analysis
- Ability to interpret Smart Meter data and predictive alerts and translate results into actionable insights for field operations and asset management teams to predict and prioritize transformer defects and overhead/underground electrical line defects.
- Experience working with large datasets (e.g., historical defect data, inspection records, and operational data) to improve model accuracy and reduce false positives.
- Experience collaborating with field operations, Protection & Control, and engineering teams to validate machine learning driven predictions.
- Thorough investigative skills.
