Electrical DesignerImpact Automation is seeking an Electrical Designer with control systems design and panel layout experience in the equipment manufacturing market. You will work with the project team to provide your electrical design expertise for parcel conveyor systems for several large customers.Impact Automation is a fast-growing company which supplies conveyors and industrial equipment to the E-Commerce market. Candidates must have technical skills and will be expected to contribute right away.What You'll Be Doing At Impact AutomationDesigning and developing drawings for control panels and on machine wiringPerforming power engineering calculationsDesigning to applicable standards and codesDesigning systems with PLCs, VFDs and HMIsDeveloping electrical schematicsEvaluating, selecting, and specifying appropriate electrical equipment and componentsCoordinating with clients, contractors, and other disciplinesEffectively building and maintaining relationships with clients, panel builders, and our teamMaintain a positive and professional work environmentMinimum QualificationsProficient in AutoCAD and MS Office2+ years of electrical design experience in the control systems environmentPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance – choose from either an HSA or a PPO plan401(k) plan with 3% company contributionProfit sharing plan4 weeks of PTO6 paid holidaysMonthly phone allowanceA track record of success is required - advanced degrees are not.
