Overview

The Systems Electrical Integration Engineer serves as the bridge between Systems Engineering and aircraft installation by translating system designs into installable solutions. This role works closely with Systems Engineers, Mechanical Designers, and Aircraft Technicians to develop, integrate, and support aircraft electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate Systems Engineering definitions and block diagrams into detailed electrical wiring diagrams.
• Design electrical harnesses and create supporting build documentation.
• Select, evaluate, and specify electrical parts and components.
• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Partner with Mechanical Design teams to develop airframe integration solutions.
• Collaborate with Avionics Technicians and support shops to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues.
• Support engineering efforts throughout system integration and modification activities.
• Develop and maintain electrical integration best practices and standards.
• Maintain electrical CAD libraries and component databases.
• Contribute to engineering change management and problem resolution processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Equivalent combination of education and additional relevant experience may be considered.
• 2-3 years of experience in aircraft systems integration, aircraft completion, or modification.
• 2-3 years of experience in electrical harness design and manufacturing.
• Proficient with Cadence OrCAD or a similar ECAD application.
• Proficient with Solid Edge and Siemens Teamcenter, or a comparable 2D/3D CAD suite.
• Experience with Component Control Quantum Control or similar ERP/MRP systems is highly desired.

• Must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR 22 CFR 120.62.
