Responsibilities
- Scoping areas for improvement / upgrades & creating plans for the reliability of instrumentation.
- Troubleshooting & resolving issues with instrumentation, electrical, and controls systems.
- SME for electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for plant projects, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Can branch out to controls projects if you have experience with this (DCS/PLC systems).
- Training I&E technicians.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or similar field.
- 5+ years of experience with electrical engineering, instrumentation, or automation engineering.
- Industrial experience in petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, or similar industry.
- Experience with instrumentation upgrades / improvements for reliability.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Big plus if you have exposure to Emerson DeltaV & Honeywell (but not required).
