Job TitleNon-exempt; part-time position working part-time and full-time now through December 2026; 20-40 hours per week; varied schedule; Monday – Friday and most weekends; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; no-benefitsThis position performs a variety of clerical duties in support of the Board of Elections office operations, assisting as the workload increases between now and the Gubernatorial Primary and the General Election. If you are a person who wants to make a difference, give back to your community, and be a voice for change, apply to Frederick County Government today.Essential Duties and Job ResponsibilitiesHelp pack polling place suppliesPrepare voting equipmentAssist with Election Judge trainingProcure ballots from the Official Ballot Drop BoxesAssist with the 5 Early Voting Center operationsSupport Election Day polling placesProcess mail-in and provisional ballots in electronic systemParticipate in voter outreach eventsPerform various clerical duties necessary (filing, copying, scanning, editing, preparing mailing projects, sorting and triaging mail, delivering to other departments, etc.)Perform reception duties from visits, calls, and email; provide timely and accurate information and assistance regarding inquiriesOther related duties as requiredTo perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform all essential functions satisfactorily.
