You will be instrumental in capturing vital brain and nerve activity data, directly contributing to accurate neurological diagnoses and the formulation of effective treatment plans.Every day you will independently perform high-quality routine and specialized neurodiagnostic procedures, such as EEGs, Evoked Potentials, or Nerve Conduction Studies, meticulously preparing patients, accurately applying electrodes according to established protocols, and skillfully acquiring precise data.To be successful in this flexible role, you will leverage your deep understanding of neurophysiology and expert technical skills to adapt procedures to individual patient needs and clinical indications, always striving for diagnostic excellence.

You will collaborate effectively with neurologists, physicians, and unit staff, providing critical data that informs treatment decisions.RequiredGraduation from certified Neuro-diagnostic program or four (4) or more years of relevant experienceWorking knowledge of EEG, EMG standardsAn understanding of medical terminologyExcellent mechanical/electrical skills to be able to maintain and trouble shoot equipmentWorking knowledge of sterilization techniques and universal precautionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to operate a computerWorking knowledge of test interpretation and techniquesA high school diploma or GED is required for this positionPreferredAmerican Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABERT) Certification
