Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and tailor treatment plans to individual needs
• Implement physical therapy interventions designed to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise routines
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress, adhering to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to coordinate comprehensive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not necessary

Skills

• Previous experience is highly desired
