Description
- Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, developing tailored treatment strategies
- Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize care outcomes
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic aims, discharge processes, and exercises for home

- Participate in multidisciplinary care team meetings and discussions to assure seamless patient care
Education
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification is advantageous
- Specialized certifications (such as in geriatrics or neurological conditions) are preferred but not mandatory
