LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, and goal-driven individual to join the team as a District Facilities and Supplies Coordinator in Montgomery, AL. This position is responsible for the overall coordination of activities related to the daily cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of the hub's facilities and grounds. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirementsAvailability and willingness to travel to provide assistance and coverage to regions within the district, as neededHave a CDL or be willing to obtain one after hire (through LifeSouth's internal CDL training program)Knowledge and experience with fleet/vehicle maintenanceKnowledge and experience with coordinating vendors for fleet repair, building maintenance, and general projectsKnowledge of building and grounds maintenance, including the daily and overall upkeep of assigned areasAbility to use various floor care machines and other electronic equipment necessary to facilitate daily cleaning and maintenanceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsInteract professionally with all customers, both external and internalAbility to multitask and prioritizeAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingWho We AreLifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.
