Remote Full Time Operations & Business Administration

1. Own and drive the department's most critical metric: achieving the target churn rate and improving overall customer satisfaction (measured via NPS and other key sentiment metrics). 2. Continuously improve organizational productivity by driving initiatives that increase the number of units managed per person while simultaneously optimizing and improving profitability per unit. 3. Act as a hands‑on player‑manager by directly intervening in and resolving high‑level escalations, complex legal/eviction disputes, and critical institutional investor concerns. 4. Direct, mentor, and manage a highly diversified organization consisting of Account Executives, field‑based Area Maintenance Technicians, onshore/offshore Maintenance Coordinators, Vendor Relations Managers, Transaction/Eviction teams, and Security Deposit Coordinators. 5. Assist with Team Meetings and semi‑annual performance reviews to drive high accountability, reinforce corporate values, and champion continuous career development.

Responsibilities

The Director of Central Operations is responsible for the execution, financial profitability, statutory compliance, and scalable growth of the company's centralized business units. Reporting directly to the SVP of Central Operations, this individual provides unified command over core operational pillars: Portfolio Management, Field Services, Maintenance, and Vendor Relations. As the leader of the management department, the Director holds primary accountability for achieving target churn rates, the department's most critical metric, while continuously improving customer satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) and related customer experience metrics.

The Director serves as the organizational guardian of the asset lifecycle, ensuring investor portfolios are optimized, maintenance margins remain profitable, and all transactional move‑out procedures are executed in accordance with the law. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with real estate compliance expertise and an analytical approach to leading both onsite and remote teams focused on continuously improving productivity (i.e., increasing the number of units managed per person) and maximizing profitability per unit.
