Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Director of Compensation to lead the design, development, and execution of our global compensation programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable, competitive, and compliant compensation structures across multiple countries and regions, aligning them with organizational goals and industry best practices. This leader will play a critical role in driving equity, consistency, and performance through compensation strategies that support business growth and talent retention worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global compensation strategies that align with business objectives and support organizational growth.
- Design and manage compensation frameworks including base pay, incentive plans, equity programs, and recognition initiatives across diverse geographies.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking and competitive analysis to ensure compensation programs remain attractive, equitable, and compliant with local regulations.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and business leadership to drive alignment between compensation strategy, workforce planning, and financial forecasting.
- Oversee the administration of compensation programs, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and fairness across all employee levels and regions.
- Provide strategic guidance to HR business partners and leaders on job evaluations, salary structures, promotions, and pay-for-performance practices.
- Monitor global regulatory and compliance requirements related to compensation, ensuring policies and practices adhere to all applicable labor laws.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by staying current on global compensation trends, emerging practices, and evolving workforce expectations.
- Manage and develop compensation team members, fostering a high-performance culture and building organizational capability in total rewards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in global compensation, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in compensation design and administration across multiple regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC, etc.).
- Proven ability to develop global frameworks while balancing local market nuances.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with senior executives.
- Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, global organization.
