Hayden Tower Service Directional DrillerHayden Tower Service is seeking a qualified experienced directional driller. One to two years' directional drilling experience, preferred, in the safe operation and basic maintenance of Vermeer products.Job Function:Work on horizontal directional drilling projects of all sizes.Pre-walk and white line projects.Load, unload and transport construction materials, machines and tools.Safely and efficiently operate tools and equipment based on job requirements.Verify location of existing utilities and adjust route as necessary based on job specifications and easement requirements.Ability to determine proper drilling fluid additives for specific soil types and conditions. Assist with job site clean-up.Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be able to work as a team with others and assist in training new hires.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to travel weekly, up to two weeks or more at a timeClass A CDL or ability to obtain one within 90 days of employmentEducation in Gas and/or Utilities Construction (preferred)Experience installing gas mains and fiber optic cables (preferred)Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordMust be able to bend, kneel, stand, and walk for long periods of timeMust be able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. regularlyMust have strong organizational skills and attention to detailCompensation:Competitive hourly rate that increases based on performance and obtaining certifications.
