ProSidian seeks a Digital Training Facility Manager (DTFM) based in Perrine (West Miami), FL to support an engagement for a U.S. Government training directorate. The role involves planning, facilitating, managing, recording, and assessing training for active and reserve military personnel, in close collaboration with the Training Management Directorate.
A Digital Training Facility (DTF) is a computer lab located on Army installations and Reserve sites worldwide. The DTFM provides management and oversight, ensuring high‑quality training and resource utilization for unit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Supports oversight of student scheduling, supervision, and training.
- Coordinating facility maintenance and interacting with Enterprise Management System (EMS) technicians.
- Adhering to EMS direction for replacing monitors, desktop computers, and servers and verifying their operation.
- Maintaining facility security and assisting students in using DTF assets.
- Monitoring and reporting the condition and inventory of IT hardware, furniture, and other equipment.
- Partnering with appropriate entities to create secure lab environments.
- Operating hands‑on equipment and managing on‑site operations.
- Providing metrics and reports to management, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Offering server and application support and maintaining equipment, ensuring superior customer interactions.
- Reporting operational status to the chain of command and Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL‑POC).
- Scheduling the use of DTFs and providing assistance to Product Manager (PdM) Army Training Information System (ATIS) and EMS staff.
- Coordinating training in DTFs with soldiers and the DL‑POC.
Experience
- Five (5) years of management experience in IT support and/or administration.
- Ability to analyze, evaluate, and forecast training requirements and provide solutions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for coordinating training sessions and preparing clear reports and presentations.
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
- Eligibility for a Facility Access Authorization (Employment Authorization) by the U.S. Government Security Office.
- Requirement to submit to background investigative clearance up to Top Secret/Q (Secret Security Clearance required).
